My name is Monique Belmedioni Conaway. I earned my Bachelors of Art for Studio Art in 2017 at the University of Southern Indiana and proceeded to earn my Masters of Art in Illustration from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco CA.
I grew up making art my whole life and everyone in my family knew I would become an artist, but I didn’t know or decide to make it my career until I started college. I started my journey with realistic charcoal portraits and worked part-time as a gallery assistant, face painter, painting instructor for door decor, and freelance before I decided to switch to stylistic digital illustrations.
My current passion and focus have been for storytelling, children’s books, character design, webcomics and product design. But I enjoy exploring other areas of illustration as well.
